Provide assessment and individual and group therapy to a diverse student population; provide consultation to faculty and staff regarding students’ counseling needs; assists with planning and conducting of workshops, training, professional development and other outreach activities at all IHCC locations; provides crisis assessment and intervention services; and practices in accordance with appropriate legal and ethical standards. Minimum Master’s Degree in counseling, counselor education, counseling psychology, social work, or closely related field and eligible for Iowa licensure as a mental health counselor, psychologist, social worker, or marriage and family therapist is required. Minimum two years’ experience providing direct client therapy.
