SUMMARY OF OVERALL ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Licensed Therapist at Dorothy’s House, you’ll provide trauma-informed individual and group therapy for participants in our Crisis, Residential, and Front Porch programs. You’ll collaborate closely with our Clinical Director and Care Coaches to build and implement care plans that foster safety, structure, and healing.

Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling field form an approved educational program
Licensed as a psychologist, LISW, or LMHC by the State of Iowa
2+ years of supervised clinical experience in a mental health or human services preferred
CCTP certification preferred; CADC certification preferred

Have sufficient life experience/skills to be a guide to participants in the home.
Previous experience in an environment with trauma survivors, addiction treatment, and/or mental health counseling and support is helpful but not required.

Roles and Responsibilities
Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.
Conduct intake assessments and ongoing progress evaluations.
Develop and maintain individualized treatment and care plans.
Collaborate with program staff to integrate therapeutic goals into everyday routines.
Offer crisis support and make referrals as needed.
Maintain clinical documentation in our EMR system and ensure compliance with HIPAA and all state regulations.
