School-Based Therapist with Classroom Clinic

Classroom Clinic is seeking multiple School-Based Therapists to join our rapidly expanding Clinical Team. We are seeking individuals who are ready for a truly transformational change in how children’s mental health care is provided. Classroom Clinic is a school-based telehealth company that provides school districts with timely and convenient access to children’s mental health services through the use of telehealth and related technologies. Our vision is that all students have equitable access to mental health services.

We are experiencing significant growth and are expanding services into multiple school districts across the state. Multiple positions are available. Positions can be telehealth, in-person, or hybrid–depending on where applicants live.

Requirements

Doctorate in Psychology; or Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy (PsyD, LMHC, LISW, LMFT). Individuals with temporary licenses (t-LMHC, LCSW) and working towards full licensure are encouraged to apply! Experience with children and adolescents is required. Must be licensed to practice in Iowa.

Technology Skill Requirements
Classroom Clinic is a technology-enabled healthcare services company. Given our virtual clinic environment and remote work requirements, we expect staff to have the skills and ability to use the tools to perform this important work. You are expected to be proficient in the following areas:

Basic Computer Skills
Keyboarding – Must type 45+ words per minute
Able to connect to the Internet and navigate websites
Comfortable using Google Applications – such as Gmail and Google Docs
Accessing Telehealth Platforms and Video Conferencing Tools – such as Zoom & Google Meet

Job Type
Full time and part time opportunities are available. In-person or remote (if working remote, must have strong internet capabilities).

Job Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
Provide evidence-based individual therapy services to students directly in the school setting
Guide students in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with their issues
Collaborate with additional treatment providers and appropriate school personnel

Pay
$80 per billable hour
