IMHCA Foundation Scholarship Application 2021
Deadline April 9, 2021
The IMHCA Foundation is a non-profit 501c(3) Charitable Organization dedicated to educating the public about mental health, decreasing the stigma of mental health, and supporting those in the field of mental health.
EDUCATION TO THE COMMUNITY | END THE STIGMA | SUPPORT PROVIDERS
The Foundation has been hard at work this year fund raising! With record numbers of golfers for their annual golf tournament – even in times of COVID – and increasing support from programs like Amazon Smiles, The Foundation has had a successful year. In an effort to support their mission, the IMHCA Foundation is assisting those pursuing graduate school in the field of mental health!
Academic scholarships are awarded annually to a limited number of IMHCA members. In 2021, the IMHCA Foundation Board will select three $1,000 academic scholarships to be awarded to a graduate student member of IMHCA. In the interest of expanding equity and expanding the workforce of licensed mental health providers across the state, special consideration will be given for those who self-identify as BIPOC or as affiliated with BIPOC-owned services in their letter of interest. The winners will be recognized at the 2021 annual IMHCA conference on May 6 over lunch at the IMHCA Board Meeting. The deadline for applications is April 9, 2021.
